Because he's the embodiment of death for Shiki. Kouma's a monster though. I get the feeling he's just as deadly if not more so than anything you can think of. Shiki actually kinda counters him though that also depends on his CRV and the specifics of his special powers. It's peculiar that he doesn't hint at a transformation in Lumina so I expect something interesting to come from it.

Can Arc's Blut der Schwester affect Sefar inside the Moon Cell? I'm leaning towards yes, because even though the Authority of Gods doesn't work on Sefar, gravity itself did which is why Sefar can't reach her 7th stage on Earth.
Blut der Schwester is a numerical alteration utlizing the difference in gravity between Earth and Moon and it's stated to be absolute to the point even BB (Moon Cell absorbed) is subjected to it.

The hilarious part about Shiki is that when usually protags get some sort of buffs just so the story can happen, Shiki received only nerfs for the same reason. Like Shirou got Avalon inside him, his own servant, knowledge download from Archer and so on. Meanwhile Shiki gets his lifeforce stolen, brainwashed so he can't use his moveset and limits himself unless pushed hard and 7 years without training because he thinks he's anemic. All that and he's still stronger than most executors. Without those he could just go to final boss room at the start of the game

Kouma being a fucking tank is his thing though. Same goes for DA since they got shit like auto generation; see half vamp Shiki vs DA Noel. I was mostly referring to the "slow" statement anyway, Shiki being "slow" is borderline nonsensical when he is portrayed as being able to slice someone into 17 pieces in less than half a second, or being supposedly fast enough to cut off Vlov's arm without being noticed despite Vlov having insane fighting instinct. The remake established that his body structure is literally made for agility and speed, so if anything Shiki is made to be fast.

There's no instance of him losing to Roa because he was particularly outmatched. The contrary, the remake makes it so that he's the one overpowering Roa (SHIKI) before Noel intervenes. The second time Shiki gets cut down by Roa, it's not even because he was outmatched, but purely because of his hesitation between going for the kill or not. That's Shiki in a nutshell, if Shiki followed his killer instinct every time, he'd have a lot fewer problems. Another example is the scene against Noel after she interferes, and when he's about to cut her throat without even realizing it just to stop in the last very last second.
