Started 1 year ago today. Have ~3700 mined vocab cards, am ~1200 cards through premade kanji deck (just remembering rough meanings), did 500/630 cards of dojg deck before deciding to get rest of grammar from immersion, did the tango n5 deck to start off. I only do about 1 hour of immersion a day, mostly manga and some easier ln reading + anime watching. Would have liked to be farther along than I am, have had a total of nearly 3 months of time where I was overwhelmed or distracted by other things and just doing my anki reviews with even less immersion. Still would much rather be where I am than starting from square 1, I enjoy my time immersing, especially now that most of the sol content that I like doesn’t take a huge amount of vocab lookups to understand. so i recalled a funny conlang that required you to say all adjectival relationships to be grammatically correct
and i think that would be a good writing practice to break complex sentences into all its simple component sentences

so breaking down 「赤いリンゴはおいしい」
you would get:
