I have 2TB, collectively... Not worried about compression.

Combine them to make one long audio track, then torrent it.

Oh I myself finished it last week, now looking foward to the updated version before I split all the files.

Hmm does tta+cue not work with daemon 4.10, or am I doing it wrong?

enjoy not getting a response and having your thread devolve into a macfags vs linuxfags vs windowsfag thread..

I personally DO think you're doing it wrong since (I think) .tta is not a disk image format, but rather just a lossless compression format.

I change my mind and AGE my comment since it's apparently correct. Install the codecs.

but cue is a cdimage format that you're supposed to mount with daemon/whatever you have. cue gives you the track info reads from the tta, which has the actual music

>> No.478723

>>478697
Not quite. Cue sheets maintain the information of images (such as tags, length, and other niceties) but aren't necessary in mounting bins/isos. In the case of lossless music they don't accompany a cd image but rather contain all the track data and such for the resulting rip. Using a cue splitter/certain media players you get that one big audio file (in this tta but could be flac, ape, etc) automatically split up into individual tracks.

TL;DR you're still doing it wrong.

...fuck

well time for me to learn myself how to split audio files

>> No.478753

HOLY shit, how many songs is 180GB?

>> No.478755

>>478736
If you're on a windows box this is a good freeware splitter: http://www.download3k.com/Install-Medieval-CUE-Splitter.html

In *nix you can just split from the command line.

Make sure to install the tta codec first on your pc if you're on windows otherwise the program will probably not split the file (or tell you it can't read it).

>> No.478756

>>478753
Not that much. It's all lossless. And it's only 177GB.

>> No.478759

Still easily over 300 or 400 albums.

>> No.478763

>>478753

686 albums

>> No.478764

177.6 GB in 637 files

This torrent will be upgraded shortly after Reitaisai-5 (2008.05.25); please stop seeding/leeching and switch to newer larger version when it becomes available.

TTA plugin for foobar2k is what I have been using.

>> No.478787

>>478755
Yeah I already had the tta codec on my system, and the tta files would play as a single track

Already found some splitting software and working on disc 3/686...

>>478787
Here's a plugin if you're using winamp: http://stashbox.org/43389/CuePlayer057c.zip it uses cue sheets to automatically split up the big audio files in the playlist, handy if you don't wanna split the audiofiles.
