No, Australians aren't that well behaved. They're a major part of the reason why Japan remains xenophobic.

"Red" tea isn't really tea, it's from a different plant. Nor are any herbal teas really tea.

Technically tea is nothing but the 'camellia sinensis' plant, meaning white, oolong, green and black are the only true teas.

Japanese fermented green tea that is drunk in their ceremonies is no good.

actually, its a insult to green tea, which should be dried, full leaved tea, that is neither roasted nor seasoned, but simply dried.

The only tea that is really tea is stuff from the "camellia sinensis" plant.

Black tea is fully oxidized, green partially, oolong less so, and white has little to no oxidization. Pu-erh is fermented tea that has been aged like a wine in the open air for many weeks or months. It gives it a very earthy taste and a smell that resembles soil.

Everything else is a "tisane" (proper term for herbal tea). With the exceptions of stuff like "red tea" which is called Rooibos and comes from "aspalathus linearis" plant, more similar to legumes than real tea.

But for the sake of the English language, it's all tea in the end. Pic related, I think tea plantations are very pretty.
