Don't know if I qualify for NEET status.

Graduated high school and started university last year, dropped out over the death of a favorite professor/good friend about a month ago (I was working towards a bullshit degree anyways). Been enjoying my life to the fullest since then. For the first time ever I can spend my days doing nothing but things I love: Surfing the net, drawing smut, working out, writing music, practicing piano and singing (around 5 hours a day). Only leave the house to attend my singing/piano lessons and to buy stuff, haven't seen any of my friends since I dropped out. Don't think I've ever been this happy before.

Perhaps. I had been diagnosed as a paranoid schizophrenic (different to regular schizophrenia as is manifests frequently in young men and has a few minor differences in its manifestation as far as I know).

Had it for around 7 years, with about a year of it spent in wards due to psychotic episodes.

Schizo tends to be a degenerative disorder though.
