I dunno about VN characters, but the cast of Nana are all pretty realistic sluts with the "I'll justify how slutty I am with stupid slut logic" monologues and all.

"Why can't I say no to him? I just want to be loved. Why won't anyone love me? I can't stop myself. Please...love me!"

etc etc.


A girl told me to watch the series, and the first thing she said while watching the first episode was "I fucking hate that asshole" to her first boyfriend. Although he was a dick for getting her to move so far and then cheating, there wasn't anything particularly bad about him considering he didn't drag out a dying relationship until she was completely broken. He let her down pretty gently, and genuinely felt bad for her. I respect him more for that than being the kind of dick who hangs onto a dead relationship and prolongs it forever, causing the girl nothing but pain and hope for months until he finally ends the relationship.

The point is, just the fact that she pointed that out in the first episode and made some kind of a connection with the main character is enough for me to pretty much say the girls in that anime act pretty realistic.

My friend pretty much went through a similar situation that the main character went through, except she was just fucking random dudes she didn't really know, and when she was pregnant she didn't know who's baby it was.

Lots of VN protagonist from galge are realistic, because writers want the readers to relate with the MC.
