Only 4 groups of animals have attained true flight, insects, bats, birds and pterosaurs. We've got insects and birds covered, so there's a 50% chance the next When They Cry game will be called When Pteranodons Cry, set in the Cretaceous Period with a Tyrannosaurus rex protagonist (he'll have tiny ham hands) fighting against the Witch of Extinction (revealed to be a meteor) for the survival of himself as well as all his scaled kin.


Alternatively, it will be "When Bats Cry", a mystery game set in a remote Transylvanian village during 18th century. The protagonist will try solving a chain of murders in the village without resorting to the Vampire argument. It will be revealed that vampires exist but are decent people, however they do carry rabies (like actual bats) so some of the townsfolk got infected, went crazy and inflicted the mysterious bite wounds on the victims.
