I'd be more worried about the money wasted on the comfort of prisoners if it weren't for the fact that most countries wasting money on this also tend to be known for lower crime rate and higher standard of living. Prison blows. You can't sleep because the beds suck and they keep the lights on at night. You can't eat because the food is terrible. And the best literature you can expect to get your hands on is a king novel. I don't understand prisons at all when it comes to rehabilitation.
