Sorry bro, same here. I came to /jp/ because it's something I'm interested in, but found only autistic xenophobes who abhor anything remotely "normal". Vocaloid has grown too large. The time between Miku's release and that of Rin and Len was about my peak interest. It seemed like only good composers like ryo were producing music.

Nowadays, it seems like people are missing the point and are obsessing too much over superficial things like character designs and shit like MMD and holograms and video games.

Usually, one comment on a video with "XD" in it or something is enough to ruin a hobby for me. But then again, it's not so much ruined. I think you blow that a little out of proportion. Yes, the spam here gets pretty bad sometimes, and I sympathize. Spam sucks, but we all have to deal with it, wherever you go, be it 4chan or anywhere else. And, wherever you go, there will be horrible faggots, and that also sucks. But the problem (or not, depending on your point of view) with an anonymous board like /jp/ is you don't know for certain who's an "outsider" and who isn't. If you see a post that indicates anything that isn't characteristic of /jp/, you pounce on the poster under the assumption that he's an outsider. If you see a post that's normal by your standards, you ignore it and treat it like any other normal post. I think a lot more "normal" posts come from outsiders than you think; they just blend in so you can't tell them from the regulars. That is the sign of a good poster, in my opinion.

tl;dr - be more tolerant because more normal posts than you think are probably from outsiders and attacking everyone else just makes it lok like you're the faggots.

And yes, I do frequent /c/. I find it a nice change of pace from the faggotry rampant here and on /b/.

it's most likely the best, or at least easiest to use, freeware 3d model animation software in existence at the moment. it's also constantly getting more powerful, and in fact just recently made a huge leap in becoming compatible with motion capture. unfortunately people have a bias against it because it has "dance" in its name and is associated with vocaloid(and oftentimes bad videos since any fool can pick it up and make something) even though it is capable of so much.
