Is it just me or was fuminori making a big deal over nothing?

Everyone/thing was ugly and smelly, but seriously, he'd be thinking the same thing if he took a trip to new york. I don't see why he started being so guarded because of a change in perception. Oh no, they look like lumpy pinkish things with misplaced eyes and holes and they smell like shit. Sure is horrifying.

And walls that look covered in pig guts aren't that bad. What a wuss.
