As an old member of hotglue, i think i will clear up some stuff :

-Firtly a very small portion of hotglue or people on /jp/ are autistic. The definition of autism is "Autism is a disorder of neural development characterized by impaired social interaction and communication, and by restricted and repetitive behavior. These signs all begin before a child is three years old.[2] "

This is of course a pretty broad definition. You can be non-social without being autistic, and you can enjoy doing something repetively without being autistic(fapping comes to mind...). The key part is that this behaviour shows up before the child is 3 years old.

Being a NEET, hiding in your room and playing MMOs(most of which are shitty after the first few days) does not make you autistic.

For those unfamiliar with how Hotglue keeps in touch, we usually do it via IRC(seeing as how the board we use isn't exactly well known...). So it's mainly IRC.

IRC used to be a cool place to hang out and we could shoot the shit with everyone but after Aika it just kept going downhill to the point where its some sort of shitty mix of /a/, /b/ and /jp/. At least 1/4th of the channel are idlers who are in no way associated with Hotglue(closer to 50% really). I honestly have no clue who they are, or why they are even there, because they refuse to associate themselves with the rest of us.

And everytime we decide to try out some new closed beta, we always get a strange influx of people we don't know and pretty much never see/talk to ingame while actual Hotgluers have problems getting keys. Are they just random people from /jp/ idling here for beta keys? Maybe.

To give you some idea of what IRC is like now...it's basically full of pants on head retarded triggers that auto kick you. And pretty much all of that is in some way related to Miku. It gets really annoying after the first few times of getting auto-kicked because of a perfectly ordinary word on a kick list.

I honestly have no idea why we have all this Miku crap in #hotglue. We were a guild founded by Tablecat and became famous on /jp/ due to Aika. We were never some kind of Vocaloid fanclub, but somehow we turned into that after Aika anyway. We're just here simply to play MMOs with /jp/, and to chat with the very cool people we have met from playing. It may be a ton of fun being the best at games, and forming friendships with certain members, but at heart Hotglue is simply for extending the /jp/ experience onto the MMOs we play, so that we have similar-minded people to play with. If you want an elite secret club where everything goes your way, you won't find it here. We're here to play MMOs with /jp/.

This sum up my feelings about the current state of hotglue.
The only thing that I like to complain about are the influx of outsiders/non /jp/ that somehow found their way into Hotglue through steam or IRC lurkers from cosmic break that made the guild full and thus couldnt accommodate even the original close beta EE players.
Not like I care since this isnt my problem but the people running the guild must be having tons of whisper/pm. Oh well a little faggotry wont stop me from taking it easy.
