/jp/ a couple of minutes ago a friend recommended me to play/read Saya no Uta, it is worth it?

Considering you've never heard of Saya no Uta til now, I'm gonna say probably not a great choice for your first visual novel ever, but whatever, it's still babby's first VN.

The reason I don't recommend it is because it's really fucking disturbing and really fucking depressing.

Here's a list of shit you should read though. Yet again, it's on this list but I don't recommend it as a first unless you really need a short read.
