What anime have you been following this season? Yes, anime is otaku culture. Currently-running anime discussion/recommendations.

I'm just watching Nisemonogatari, wasn't too interested in anything else... and I'm enjoying it so far. The characters are all nice enough, there's some fanservice, and it's a bit ``smarter'' than shows like Milky Holmes. I'm really excited to see how it'll develop.

Reported. Anime and manga discussion belong in >>>/a/. There is a reason why that board exists.

Way to abandon that shitty Persona thread on SA as well.

What are you talking about? NEET threads, cute girl imagedump threads, and programming threads all have places they ``should'' be, too (/r9k/, /c/, /prog/) but if you look at /jp/ as being ``topics banned from other boards'' rather than the broad topic otaku culture really is, you're missing out on a lot. And SA? I haven't been there for years... And I'd share an account with someone else, so I really doubt you know who I am.

You stole my point from earlier and bastardized it.
Anime and manga go on the anime and manga board. You know this, but you're pretending your argument is valid or whatever. I'm too autistic to get what you're going for, and in the end you're just going to make yourself upset.

As of 2012, Japanese language threads, visual novel threads, and similar ``non-/a/'' topics are allowed. We all know what moot said in 2008, but you know as well as I do that boards and communities change over time.

Do you know what an otaku is? In 4chan's context, it's a nerd with interests focusing in Eastern culture and media, with anime/manga taking the spotlight.

Stop posting and finish your homework Tokiko.

You are thinking too much about this and taking it too seriously. Just deal with the fact that this 'community' wants anime and manga on /a/ and not on /jp/.
