Yeah, I wish moot had exercised some quality control. Some of them even have fucked up aspect ratios and the worst fonts.
I'm guessing it was a requirement to include the site name somewhere, but most of them are just "lol i found a picture and put '4chan' on it in black 20pt arial".

I think it's one of the default Linux/X11/GNOME fonts like Bitstream or whatever. Plus it's a stupid .GIF and it's 280 KB. I know it's 2012 but moot should have made a 100 KB limit or something. That Steins;Gate one is almost 400 KB and it's not particularly special (even if it looks cool).

I don't understand what the fuck was the thought process behind some of the banners. Like a lot of the old 4chan banners had personality. Not all of them were great, but it seems like a lot of the new ones are just LOLRANDOM ANIME SCREENSHOT WITH 4CHAN LOGO OVER IT!

Flanfly does stand out as a banner with personality though. And why the fuck is Flanfly banner up when I enter this thread? And it just hit 2 PM when I hit this thread too.
