Honestly, japanese humor is inferior.

It's a poorly developed language with little to no space for double entendres and complex articulations, asides from the "lol it sounds like this" or "it's kanji for that". Humor is an universal language, that has the duty to be creative above all - a joke is always funnier the first time you understand it. Since creativity and originality aren't exactly things the asians and by consequence the japanese are very good at (at least outside porn), and since humor isn't even an important part of their culture, you can begin to see what generally prevents them from writing good humor.

tl;dr: Western humor is god tier compared to Japanese humor. Srsly, they're shit at it.

You can probably guess from my pictures. Like, for example, sticking Marisa's head in that pretzel box got crumbs in her hair. Cuddling at night means she sometimes has a few of my stray hairs on her clothes. After weeks of stuff like this, you just want to wash them. Its not like she was mud-covered or anything. People take showers when they don't necessarily have visible dirt, so I don't know why fumos shouldn't have that luxury as well.

Plus, bath time is a good way to bond. I got to wash her hair and hold her hands a lot. It was fun.

I haven't tried cleaning her tails, but they should be no different from the rest of a fumo. Honestly I worry more about the clothes. I think as long as you make sure you have a really gentle soap, it should be fine. If you don't have a heater or a fan, I'd dry gently with a soft cloth and then yes, sit her in the sun for a while. Just make sure she doesn't sit too long!

So I was going through a local con when I noticed a bunch of Fumo/Nendo plushies. I got a Nendo Marisa for 20$, but I'm suspecting it might have been a miniature-type one. The rest were for stuff I wasn't familiar with, though there was a larger Miku I didn't get.

Also the stitching on the mouth seems to have come out. It did have the tag, though, so I'm not sure if it's a fake or not.

According to Amiami, Nendo plushies are around 25 cm tall, and Fumos are around 20 cm tall. Here's a picture of size comparison.

If you use the glorious imperial system like I do, I got around 8.5 inches tall with my ruler up against my Marisa fumo...

If it's legit, I'd think 20 bucks was a good deal, seeing as Amiami sells Nendo plushies for around 3700 yen before the price of shipping. It'd also be cheaper than a Fumo.

Anyway, now that I've had some weeks to enjoy my Marisa fumo, I've been considering finding another one. At the same time, I'm considering getting a Marisa figure of some kind instead. They both have their benefits. On one hand, I get a more diverse bunch of fumos. On the other, I get more of my favorite 2hu.

Unfortunately, doing both is not an option for me. And my heart is torn.

Not my best photography tonight. I left my camera on a stupid setting where it takes two pictures, one on flash and one regular. It is really helpful for testing the waters in pictures, but it means sometimes they come out really oddly, like the ones I am about to post..

Anyway, the fumos and I had our internet go down, so we hung out and watched some rifftrax. But of course, we had to make popcorn!
