Lately I've really been missing the mid 2000s. When the boorus were just starting and fansubbing was just exploding and everything seemed really fresh exciting and new.

Nostalgia threads are gay

Only thing from the mid 2000s I miss is my motivation. When music and nice pictures were more difficult to find, I sometimes used to spend HOURS tracking down like one mp3.

Now absolutely anything I want to listen to is either on youtube or one torrent away, I can't be bothered. It's like the hunt was as much fun as actually finding stuff.
