I doubt /r/, being full of porn would be able to help me with this. Me and my friends found a Japanese book store in London while on vacation, which also had karaoke boxes for 1 hour rent. There were thousands of songs listed, both Japanese (even some titles from eroges) and English so afterwards we thought if there exists similar software for PC or is there some site where you can order such karaoke hardware?

Also, has /jp/ been to karaoke before?

I looked around a bit and found out that you can play .cdg (.mp3 with text) files in winamp with a plugin which is basically karaoke. PB seems to full of such files but none from Japanese bands so I'm now wondering what is the Japanese equivalent of PB (not fucking PD, I don't have space for that shitload of unity files).

I took clients out when I was working in China. You need booze and a few club girls, at least one for every man.

Girls are 200-300RMB/hour, booze 800-1000RMB/person (expect horrendous stuff like €80 wine being mixed with cola if they are Chinese, half it won't even be drunk) and the room hire is about 100 per person per hour. Worst thing was that the businessmen had good voices, at wasted them in places like that.

Best karaoke is in the Phillipines, or in a dive part of Shanghai with Pinoys.
