I let my mother play Super Mario Bros on the NES once. I didn't think it was possible to game over on the first goomba. When she eventually learned how to get past it, the first pit was her other challenge. She quit after 20 minutes. I get the feeling she wouldn't be up to the challenge if I let her try when I come over.

You think that's bad? I tried teaching my mom LoZ OoT... didn't fucking work out well. It's hard to get people to NOT LOOK AT THE FUCKING CONTROLLER, and learn how to move, Z-target, talk, swing the fucking sword, etc... when they have no hand eye coordination.
