Where does /jp/ buy their Japanese magazines from?

Pic related.

Book Off and Kinokuniya here in New York City where I live. I often check Kino once a month because they usually get a lot of fantastic game artbooks in stock. Book Off gets a healthy amount of imported NTSC-J games and sometimes I don't even have to bother with importing something that I want.

7-eleven or family mart

Who the fuck buys recent magazines anyways?
They all suck, you can get better shit on the internet.
Fucking weebs

I used to get them from HMV but they changed so I can't any more.

I do usually. I am afraid of the print media dying and will support magazines that I like.

Agreed. The magazines of today are all babylon as hell.

Do you think something like "Soccer Digest Weekly" is something really to be feared about dying?

I certainly would like to see the death of all those women's magazines. No wonder women are so fucking stupid if they read those.

You have reason to believe otherwise?

I think you have to justify the worry here.

Magazines are going faster than books. You have reason to believe otherwise?

Again, the onus is on you to support why this is a bad thing. I don't really think society would suffer too much from the loss of a publication revolving around "who kick da ball? he kick da ball".

We have the internet now for advertisements and outlet of opinions. The need for glorified bloggers (magazine journalists) telling us what to think of things is over.

Also mass printed media is wasteful of resources, is energy inefficient and contributes to landfill.

On the other hand print media basically lasts forever, so we can still enjoy books from hundreds or thousands years ago whereas some net-content from not even 10 years ago is already gone forever.

Have you seen a magazine from 30 years ago? They age like shit , there is something about the ink that makes them a wrinkly and de-colored. Except architecture, uni, lit and comic books all magazines rot, and they fucking deserve it.
