Just read this 10 years after I didn’t read it in high school.

Holy shit. This book could’ve saved me so much trouble trying to understand the world. 1984 is nowhere near this good.

Nice, now look into Huxley's family and realize it wasn't a prediction -- he knew.

What about his family ? Seems like typical British aristocracy

What about his family ? Seems like typical British aristocracy
not quite

Huxley family had more famous scientists than any else
Julian Huxley is arguably the most famous advocate for technocracy

Spot on. Julian Huxley was the first director general of United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and former president of the UK Eugenics Society who coined the term transhumanism in his New Bottles For New Wine (1957)[1] which argued, as Klyczek summarizes[2], “the eugenic goals of biologically engineering human evolution should be refined through transhumanist technologies, which combine the eugenic methods of genetic engineering with neurotech that merges humans and machines into a new organism.”
Earlier, in 1946, Julian noted[3] in his vision for UNESCO that it was essential that “the eugenic problem is examined with the greatest care and that the public mind is informed of the issues at stake so that much that is now unthinkable may at least become thinkable."
Whether its UNESCO or the americas Project Best, the outlines for the total world order have been written in ink for decades.

Interesting. I was familiar with Thomas and his defense of Darwin writings and eugenics. Julian also a eugenecist. So basically we can assume Aldous was extremely familiar with elites’ true views on eugenics.

I read it in Houellebecq that this book wasn't t portray a dystopia, but rather a future to aspire to. He also mentions Julius Huxley's eugenics program in The Elementary Particles

“There will be, in the next generation or so, a pharmacological method of making people love their servitude, and producing dictatorship without tears, so to speak, producing a kind of painless concentration camp for entire societies, so that people will in fact have their liberties taken away from them, but will rather enjoy it, because they will be distracted from any desire to rebel by propaganda or brainwashing, or brainwashing enhanced by pharmacological methods. And this seems to be the final revolution”

“There will be, in the next generation or so, a pharmacological method of making people love their servitude, and producing dictatorship without tears, so to speak, producing a kind of painless concentration camp for entire societies, so that people will in fact have their liberties taken away from them, but will rather enjoy it, because they will be distracted from any desire to rebel by propaganda or brainwashing, or brainwashing enhanced by pharmacological methods. https://archive.org/details/AldousHuxley-TheUltimateRevolution at around 35:00 he begins to talk about experiements on rats and the "hopelessly insane."
There exists for instance, Designer Receptor Drugs or Precision Pathogens which were invented in around 2013 where they can be introduced via low dose nano-pharmaceutical deliveries of toxins or other chemicals to then be triggered remotely for an acquired function. The mRNA technology uses lipid nanodes to give a clearer view. Aside from direct control, it is much more evident that we are living in a world where humanity lives in an almost hallucinated world that is made up for them by the promulgation of information propagated by corporations: propaganda.

Basically everyone before the end of WWII supported some public policies based on eugenics, it wasn't a controversial subject outside of like the USSR where lysenkoism reigned.
Conspirtards of course can twist a narrative with someone like Huxley so if you google you'll come across the typical gibberish about the queen of England or whatever.

>before the end of WWII
this quote from Julian >>19152075 and indeed Julian's book were published after WWII. Take for instance the British Eugenics Society, which was renamed the Galton Institute[1] in 1989 a name that pays homage to Sir Francis Galton, the so-called father of eugenics. But this is ridiculous, to suggest that the ideology of the oligarchy has changed while the same powerful families still exist today, such as the Rockefellers, is on par with what I'd expect from a retard conformist who lives in a dream world.

> “Suddenly, from out of the Synthetic Music Box a Voice began to speak. The Voice of Reason, the Voice of Good Feeling. The sound-track roll was unwinding itself in Synthetic Anti-Riot Speech Number Two (Medium Strength). Straight from the depths of a non-existent heart, "My friends, my friends!" said the Voice so pathetically, with a note of such infinitely tender reproach that, behind their gas masks, even the policemen's eyes were momentarily dimmed with tears, "what is the meaning of this? Why aren't you all being happy and good together? Happy and good," the Voice repeated. "At peace, at peace." It trembled, sank into a whisper and momentarily expired. "Oh, I do want you to be happy," it began, with a yearning earnestness. "I do so want you to be good! Please, please be good and…" Two minutes later the Voice and the soma vapour had produced their effect. In tears, the Deltas were kissing and hugging one another-half a dozen twins at a time in a comprehensive embrace.”

The plan is to cast every enemy of the established order as a mentally ill lunatic.

There will be no more "criminals." Every "crime" will be judged to be a product of mental illness. Every prison will be converted into an asylum. There will be no more men screaming behind bars, but nice and happy prisoners walking around well manicured gardens.

Everyone will be "happy," but everyone will be mindless.

There will be no more poverty. There will be no more crime. There will be no more cops and robbers. There will be no more physical cash. Every currency will be digital. No one will be able to steal anything. There will be no motivation for violence. You will own nothing and be happy.

Everyone will be "happy," but everyone will be mindless.

It's the death of the individual mind that terrified Huxley. We're certainly headed towards it. As he predicted, it will be more efficient to produce BNW as opposed to 1984.

Everyone will be "happy," but everyone will be mindless.

It's happening and we are powerless to stop it because the multitudes WANT to be enslaved. They never wanted freedom. They want a comfortable life free of pain. Only the artist and the intellectual understands that pain is a necessary component of the creative process. We need our solitude; we need our pain -- it is our most cherished possession.

Everyone will be "happy," but everyone will be mindless.

Guess I should read it then and Huxley's other works.

I meant the term eugenics became toxic after WWII because of its association with National Socialist Germany. Ya, Julian was a bit of an eccentric and could get away with being a bit naughty but all public policies on immigration or birth is basically the worst form of biological laissez faire today
