I read either/or and in the part where he describes the "ethical" lifestyle, he says that every man must work to live and how this is tragic and terrible from the "aesthetic" perspective (the aesthetic guy gives advice to either get a good inheritance, marry a rich girl, or go to the colonies and return a rich man after plundering some gold and shit), and it turns out that the horrible work day in Denmark at the time that he must endure is FIVE FUCKING HOURS.
