Oddly enough, the nearest book to me is a study on Angels and Demons in Art; I'd assume they'd base their values again on Christian doctrine and see whites as a supreme holy race.

They'd probably be quick to the art itself, too.

No fucking clue desu. The trail of tears becomes like an Exodus story I guess. Haven't read through it, but if it contains some of the Choctaw myths like lightning being two giant birds in the sky and thunder being their eggs rolling around on top of the clouds, then that'd be cool. More entertaining than some old dude with a beard.

If you read his Laws, you'll see the major influence it had on forming the US Constitution. Off the top of my head: laws are subject to the same critical, interpretive rigor that literature is. Therefore, a code of laws is not an absolute, static document, but a living standard that should be questioned in context by any free citizen (see the "free doctor" vs. "slave doctor" analogy).

>Simulacra and Simulation by Jean Baurillard

A man wakes in the morning to find a constructed bedroom of ideas he himself never had. His alarm clock was destroyed by the Independent Agreed Governments, because keeping scheduled time is a simulacra of real time, as we only do what we believe we should be doing with our time, which has no basic construct in reality. Much the same as governance.

He walks to his closet, but it is empty. Every possible clothing option is only a simulation of choice, a simulation of fashion. He almost dumps a bucket of paint over his head, but remembers that Bob did that last week, so his act would only be a simulation of Bob's. He dumps the bucket on the floor and rolls in it for a while, perfectly satisfied with his creativity.

For breakfast, he looks at the eggs in his refrigerator. He can't remember why he bought them, as the happy home cooked egg breakfast is only a simulacra. He breaks them on the counter and slurps up the material, perfectly satisfied with his creativity.

He has never had a real job, only a simulation of one. The most valuable jobs are in medicine (deciding if people are sick or merely simulating sickness, in either case science is only a simulation), or construction without a finished product, as the product would only be a simulacra of the blueprints and prior buildings.

This book is very beautiful, even materially, so I could see a twink civilisation obsessed with irony and sin spawn from it. It helps to have lots of his work in it, because he's rather self-deprecating by the time he did "Importance of Being Earnest" - but I could see lots of hot debates and wars go on between the twinks whether "bunbury" meant something very sexual, literal or otherwise. Then you'd have the shitpost monks, since Wilde was an avid shitposter before it was a thing.
