The term came from a movie directed by two trannies about a black man who gives enlightenment to a computer hacking white guy in the form of a red pill. He then wakes up and finds himself in the "desert of the real" and realizes everything he knew was wrong. The whole thing is a work of the closet and can be viewed as a metaphor for gender transition. The antagonist even continues to call the protagonist Mr. Anderson despite his adoption of a truer name: Neo.

Ironically, taking the red pill is the conservative/traditionalist equivalent of the progressive's "being woke."

>not realizing that simulacra and simulation validates Spengler's claims by positing that our current culture is an empty expression of an idea that died a long time ago, aka not a reflection of reality
>not realizing that Technological Society is right that our culture is dominated by technique, or efficiency, but that the Unabomber is wrong about technique killing culture (technique is caused by a dying culture)
>not realizing that Spengler predicted the rise of the age of efficiency as a sign of a dying Culture

Also you're more attached to Faustian civilization than I am. Spengler views Faustian civilization as a tragic character that's already poisoned, it just needs to finish dying. Personally, I find it harder to commiserate with something that's already dead. Those who view Culture and Technology as one and the same thing see Culture as constantly progressing. This progression, this reaching out to grasp the infinite, is the expression of the Faustian soul in its purest form.

More or less the red pill from the Matrix, the one that teaches some wisdom you've been missing, alters your perception of reality, or drastically changes your life.

>The women you catch watching you are clever and calculating, trying to incorporate use of you into their life. The ones who don't aren't as trustworthy (they are more... flakey, unpredictable?), but are more honest/sincere with you.

>Human society is deeply-seated fantasy. There is no basis for anything humanity does beyond animal survival, except what we choose to believe.

>The anthropological claim that the Jews' ancestors started a race war with Caucasians' ancestors ~70 000 years ago after having their settlements nearly destroyed , their women raped, and children killed or eaten. This isn't a "secret Jewspiracy" but shown through evolution and the exchange of symbols and ideas throughout storytelling like mythologies and folklore.

>The tyrant ruler is the one you're not allowed to speak out against.

>Women are born to be fucked. There are ~3.5 Billion women on the planet. If you can't fuck a woman you find attractive, the problem lies with you.

>You are what you eat. This is common knowledge. Ever notice how plants smell different depending on the soil they're planted in? Human bodies are the soil, and what you eat changes how you smell. Eat lots of red meats? You smell like shit, or decomposing cooked meat. You eat fruits and veggies but no grains? You smell like fungus. You eat all carbs, or sugars and chocolates and candies and pop? You smell like fucking garbage. And that first impression thing? That's directly impacted, because humans pick up on scent long before it's noticed consciously. You can shower 10x in a day and it won't change a thing, because the smell's coming from inside you. (Deathbreath fits here, too.)

>How you think about the world, and how you talk to yourself color your perception of the universe around you. If you think miracles and luck are common, they'll become common. What you focus on becomes a larger part of your life.

>Magic is real, it's just nowhere near what it's portrayed to be so the average person is protected. Almost every single human born in a western country knows most of the symbols and words, and types of magic, and how to use it, but they don't know they know. The East is much worse, they know they know, but don't know how to use it. Perhaps I've said overmuch here.

>Animals other than humans, and even plants have thoughts. Animals have emotions, as well as consciousness.

>"God" as the Jews, Christians, and Muslims see it, is the same thing. We've known it, worldwide, for millennia. Every few hundred years it comes to the forefront of humanity in the conscious awareness of the masses, and causes huge turmoil and upheaval.

What about bodies of water and weather? Remember the Gaia Hypothesis? If a planet is a living system, what would that consciousness be like? Same as humanity, or beyond what we comprehend?
>To that end, look at the solar system. The galaxy. The universe. If everything in the entire universe was part of a single living system, and it had some kind of balancing awareness of itself, what would that be called? God?
>To go one step further... how do you respond to the needs of your individual cells? Does a person with cancer just tell their cells to stop being cancerous? Well... no. Original versions of what's now the Qur'an were revised and rewritten by many different authors. A couple pieces of originals have been shown to have different styles and dialects from different periods written over one another on the same page. They had a pantheon, but the older authors were smart about the way they named everything, so it could look like one or many (a "clever" style of writing adopted from various hindu/buddhist scholars).

The fact of the matter is that God is one, and believing in any of the two preceding Abrahamic religions is incredibly show-sighted and narrow minded, because those two, even more than Islam, present us with the logical conclusion 'God' in the sense we know it from Nietzsche, does not exist in the future.

Honestly you all treat Islam like it is all that different from Christianity. If it is - it is only in the Hegilian sense, that it isn't characterized by kindness and niceness by as many people including Bertrand Russell have pointed out was justified by necessity.

I have seen muslims bring up morality into it as if that is what it is really about when in reality everything that happened to Muhammad was, and can be justified by the expression: it is necessary. Why were the jews killed in Yathrib? It was necessary, why was Mecca reconquered? It was necessary. Why was the prophet arab, necessity of course. In that sense it does match up closely with the Nietzschean master morality idea, because all morals are decided not by who gets conquered but who conquered. See Jizya.

It does.

Every political philosopher has liked the idea of Islam much more because it fuses government with religion. An absolutely impossible idea to overturn.

It also outlaws usury completely, and pigs. Both of which are good for curing corruption in politics, and overpopulation (due to pigs being correlated with extremely late cases of agricultural development).

yeah, but in every Muslim state you will notice this very Marxist theme where the ruling class ends up interpreting the laws and the Quran to suit them. Case in point, the Abbasids, the Ummayuds, the ottomons, even the Iranis and Saudis. The Abbassids even had pet philosophers and neoplatonists to justify their lurid lifestyle. I'm not saying Islam is better or worse, I'm saying it justifies everything the ruling class does and passes it off as morality.

Screw it, Don Quixote. That wasn't the crux of my argument. When I wrote that I was thinking of Alawis who also believe in a trinity just like Christianity.

My main point is that a religion that follows after Muhammad vs. after Jesus are going to be very different. That being said, I hadn't ever really heard of the Alawis before. They're still very far from Christianity, but the trinity (different trinity than Christianity apparently) and the consecration of wine and bread are familiar.

Islam really isn't monolith. If you believe that congratulations: you have bought into the Saudi propaganda. If you go ask them they will straight up tell you that only indeed they are the true Muslims, and everyone else isn't. When in reality there are some Muslims that care for Ayesha being 9, others don't. Just like I'm sure you will find both muslims being apologetic about that point; or desperately trying to negate it. Not to mention i do recall Christ beheading someone in the canon, and killing a teacher in one of the non-canon books.

You’ll literally need to start with the Greeks but before that have some kind of upbringing that had you socializing as well as training for yourself, but only lightly. Montaigne and Martial are right when they say the only thing a boy needs growing up to learn is just taking in the good things around him, nature and good people especially. This returns to Plato (and Aristotle too) who advises against teaching young men philosophy. Anyway, once you’re anywhere from 16-23 you can start getting into serious literature. Once you’ve dabbled in entry level classics (see the charts) then go straight for the Greeks. Plato will teach you everything but you surely will not understand everything on the first run through. In fact, you’ll be returning to him for the rest of your life if you’re wise. My management professor (I’m a dual major) once old me his two favorite philosophers were Plato and the Prophet Joseph Smith. So, while you’re making your way through the Greeks (hopefully you started with homer, then the tragedians, then Aristophanes, then the two historians, and remember, any classic that tickles your fancy in between...), you’ll find it tough to persevere. Know you’ll come out better. Make your way through the Romans revisiting Plato, and then fool around with Shakespeare, Montaigne, Joyce, Pynchon, Chaucer, literally anything you can get your hands on. Watch some San Hyde videos and fall under his spell for a moment. Read some Shakespeare theory—old critics too—until it kind of fucks up your life momentarily because you’re not used to reading into the vain subtleties of life.

Oh, and through doing all of this you happen to fall in love with a girl (I advise holding out against this as long as possible until quite literally fate hands her to you because of how good of a man you’ve become)—when that happens, stop watching Hyde as much, return to your Shakespeare, Plato, Ovid, Proust, and Montaigne, and, though you’ve been training yourself to think all this time, try not to, so much. Oh yeah, read the Bible too.

Deliberately so. Ligotti is actually an antinatalist but he's got a pitch black sense of tongue in cheek humor about it.
It's actually an enjoyable read if you can vibe with that
