Man Booker Prize
National Book Critics Circle Award
Pulitzer Prize
National Book Award
PEN/Faulkner Award
Rhea Award for Achievement in the Short Story
New York Times Notable Books of the Year
etc, among others. Just go through and pick books that sound interesting. Then go to the library and get reading. That's it. That's all you have to do.
