This might just be one of the best arcade games ever made.

It is. For me it would have been the entire reason to own a Saturn.
In fact I didn’t even know this game had a home release, if I did, I probably would have bought a Saturn just for this game.
My family used to do a lot of horse betting as a kid and the track had a Die Hard arcade machine, so I’d end up just putting 20 dollars of quarters into the machine and play for hours.
It’s the best 3D beat-em-up ever, like seriously this is the absolute top shelf for that genre. It’s perfect.
I like the dynamite deka sequels, but playing it without the Die Hard branding is tangibly less soulful.

Also +1 for punching women in the face and it saying

I've always wanted to play through this game. As a kid I sat in a bowling alley's game room and watched these two teens play the entire game and then at the end when you fight the other player they let me play (and win). One of my fondest memories! Still haven't got around to trying it. Not sure the easiest way to play it now.

Any good beat-em up arcade games like this? Other than Dynamite Cop of course.

I remember this game from the grocery store. I think they also had Virtua Fighter.

Sad we didn't get more 3D brawlers like this. There's only a handful.

I'm really shocked at the large list of moves you can do in this game. It's got some decent depth for a beat em up. Always love handcuffing people.

It's not just the moves too. There is an absolutely impressive amount of weapons, but also unique enemies, environments, and even hazards that are only used once. That and the QTE which may provide slightly different play every time.
The game is absolutely brimming with love and it's what makes it amazing, it's like every minute of it is unique, not like every beat em up out there where you're gonna be fighting the same guys 3 dozen times in the same environment for 5 minutes and maybe, MAYBE, pick up a knife or baseball bat that doesn't suck ass.

it also has the perfect length too, just a half hour of high adrenaline. I'm in love with this game I just don't know if I'd have what it takes to 1CC it, I wish I knew why I can't fucking run for starters.
