What determines the quality of a Vtuber event? How can some be so drastically better than others?

The other hand is prerecorded vs. live. Live is harder to do even for that multibillion yen studio haver company. I'm not making insults, VShojofag and we do prerecorded stuff too so it's an acknowledgement of the challenges facing live content vs. prerecorded but quality stuff. Doing live, even if you can only do so with 2d, has merits.

I'm sure they do. My point got muddled in there somewhere, but what I am saying is that using 2d only and "karaoke" is justifiable if you're doing it live. I think there's still a quality to live content that cannot be matched by even the best prerecorded stuff. But it really depends on the individual audience member tastes and what they find valuable, what the live is used for like any audience interacting, and, of course, tribal monkey brains.
